This Saturday Anique and I had the wonderful opportunity to go down to Lacygne, Kansas to spend time with the SetApart folks at the Unruh family cabin. This family establishment...called "The Family Place" was hand-built by Duane and his family. The purpose of this large cabin is the honor and cherish the legacy of the Unruh family. Barb and Duane are unbelievably godly people who have a heart for ministry and serving God's people. They even have a plaque in their home that says "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." They truly live out those words. I have to get one of those!!!

Their cute cabin nestled within 78 acres of woods and prairie is located about 45 minutes south of KC. The cabin is along a gravel road...straight out in the boonies!

Such a cute cabin! When you are here, it just feels like all the worries of the world just leave you.

These two guys (along with Michael Davis) are amazing brothers in Christ. I know that one of the reasons God placed Anique and I here in KC was so I could learn about being a better person, husband, and future father from these guys. It's always a joy to spend time with these gents!

After some amazing food and fellowship, we headed home. It was wonderful spending time with our friends at The Family Place. I can't wait until we get to come back again!
Thanks for the hospitality Barb and Duane. God has truly blessed your family!
I LOVE it! Of course, you knew I would! That is one fun group you've got there. I am so glad you've made such wonderful friends in Kansas City and they've become our friends too! Love ALL of you!
